HISTORY OF THE “WORLD STAR”… (IN SPANISH)

Este proyecto para inmortalizar a los mejores atletas del mundo… Llamado en
ingles “world star”…se iba a realizar en 1994 cuando la ciudad 
aprobo la renovacion del parque “exposition park”…pero por causa del
terremoto en northridge los equipos de la “nfl”… Los
“rams” se fueron para san luis missouri y los “raiders” se
fueron para oakland…y todo se tuvo que cancelar…

Y los angeles se quedo “sin futbol americano” por 22 largos an~os…

El proyecto se tuvo que cancelar a pesar que los angeles mayor…mr. Richard
riordan y el gobernador de california, mr. Pete wilson habian apoyado las
“estrellas mundiales” por los cientos de cartas de apoyo de
personalidades mundiales del deporte que recibimos como arnold palmer, a. J.
Foyt.. Cinco veces campeon de las “500 millas de indianapolis”…
Jerry west…isiah thomas y michael jordan…estrellas de basketball… Alfredo
di stefano… Argentino. Uno de los mas grandes jugadores de football soccer y julio
cesar chavez…uno de los mas destacados boxeadores mexicanos de la historia y
asi hemos recibimos mas de 300 cartas de apoyo.

Todo se cancelo en 1994 y yo decepcionado “abandone la idea” y me fui
a recorrer el mundo en mi profesion como musico y cantante profesional pero
segui recibiendo cartas “positivas” de presidentes de organizaciones
deportivas…de varios gobernadores y miembros del congreso… De comites
olimpicos y de atletas y tambien recibi invitaciones para hacer este proyecto
en otras ciudades. Como en estocolmo, suecia…en budapest, hungria… En
madrid, espan~a; en lisboa, portugal …en rusia y hasta en la ciudad de boston
aqui en estados unidos.. Pero como yo vivo en los angeles.. Solo deseaba
fervientemente que la “avenida de estrellas mundiales” se hiciera en
esta ciudad de los angeles…

En 1916 volvio a “renacer” mi esperanza cuando regreso a los angeles
el equip0 de futbol americano…los “rams”…y los
“chargers”…ademas ya se construyo un excelente y moderno estadio
..el “sofi stadium” en inglewood, california …estamos cerca de
conseguir nuestro cometido y por eso estamos pidiendo firmas a los
“fans” de los “rams”

por cada “estrella que se ponga en la ‘”avenida” se premiara a
los estudiantes excelentes con becas para sigan su carrera.

Ya tenemos unas 5.000 firmas pero necesitamos mas firmas de entusiastas
aficionados que escriban su nombre y el nombre de su atleta favorito…y manden

What is the World Sports Celebrities Star?

The “World Star” is a star made of marble and bronze, 3 ft. in diameter, which will immortalize the World’s Best Athletes and also the Best Trainers, Coaches , Sport Personalities and Promoters. The Special design of the Star, copyrighted at the Library of Congress in Washington D. C.  depicts five stars mounted one on top of the other.  In the center of the circle appears the earth and the image of the athlete in bronze  The Stars will change colors in the sidewalk depending on the Nationality of the Nominee. If the athlete was born in America the “World Star” on top will be Blue; from Asia , the Star will be Yellow; from Africa, the Star will be Black ; from Europe, the Star will be Red and from Oceania the Star will be Green. These “World Stars” will be placed around one stadium , thus establishing the site as the “CENTER OF THE SPORTS WORLD”.

In the City of Inglewood, (about 15 miles from Los Angeles) one of the Most Modern Stadiums, which will be the House of the NFL team…the “Rams”, is under construction and will be ready by the year 2020…

We are trying to place the “World Star Project” on Century Blvd. which is close to the New Stadium which will be the ideal site for this Monumental Sports Project. the firsts of the “World Stars” which will be awarded will be to Jesse Owens, Joe Louis, Jackie Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Michael Phelps, Usain Bolt, Kobe Bryant, Arnold Palmer,Pele, Di Stefano, Cristiano Ronaldo, etc 

The “Wold Star” will not only give honor to the Most Talented  Athletes but will give scholarships to disabled athletes and to excellent students; will create jobs and businesses; will be an International Tourist Attraction and will represent a great incentive to future athletes who will be inspired to follow the steps of the Great ones.   This idea of Pepe Crow and Francisco Crow is being supported by more than 250 Sports Personalities who also wish to “see this dream become a reality”. 

You can see the “World Star” and read some of the letters that we are receiving constantly praising this project and wishing that very soon we will have the chosen site for this dream.

The Stars will be sponsored by Corporations, sports Organizations and private citizens.

For each Star which will be awarded, we will print a Commemorative Special Edition Book telling the Biography of the Nominee; Also the Biography of the Sponsor of the Star and his family ; and the signatures of the people who gave the “World Star” to the Athlete.

What is the World Star?

The “World Star” is a plate of marble and granite framed brass measuring 38 square inches. It presents a side face in bronze athlete nominated along with your name and nationality and center a globe in turquoise and the five inhabited continents of the world. There are five overlapping Stars and each star is a different color. The color of the star will predominating according to the nationality of the athlete. If the Nominee is America, the color of the star will be blue; if Africa, the color will be Black; if Asia, Star color will be yellow; If the athlete is from Australia, the color will be green and if Europe is red.

Each Sports Personality that is selected will have his star on the “Path of the Sports Celebrities” who was found located on an important avenue that reaches an important Stadium.

Eventually this stage will become the “World Center of Sport”.

Each of the nominees will have a commemorative limited edition book that will be published to present his biography; History and Biography Sponsor and the names of the thousands of fans who voted for that athlete receives the World Tribute.
